FUNCTION DETAILS
Duplex system measurement (paint + galvanizing) Designed to measure individualmente the thicknesses of the paint and the zinc layer in duplex systems, with a single reading.
FNDS probe for simultaneous measurement Simultaneously uses the principles of magnetic induction (ferrous substrate) correntes parasitas – Eddy Current (zinc layer), automatically calculating the thickness of each layer.
Automatic zinc-layer calculation Zinc thickness is obtained from the difference between total thickness (paint + zinc) and the paint thickness measured over the non-ferrous coating.
Modo convencional FN When Duplex mode is disabled, the instrument operates as a conventional ferrous / non-ferrous gauge, similar to the probe FNS, expanding its versatility.
Data transfer and storage Stores up to 1,000 readings and allows transfer via USB for recording, traceability, and inspection reports.
