The Accuracy WS0023 WFT 0.25-6 mm Wet Film Thickness Gauge is designed to measure the thickness of wet paints and coatings immediately after application.
To perform a measurement, place the gauge perpendicular to the still-wet coating and press it until the support points contact the substrate. Remove the gauge and observe which teeth have been wetted by the coating.
The reading allows the amount of material deposited during application to be monitored, supporting control of uniformity, material consumption and compliance with the specified wet film thickness.
